WOLVES new signing Andrew Surman has made a plea to former Southampton teammate Adam Lallana to join him at Molineux according to the Express & Star.

Wolves are interested in teaming up Surman with buddy Lallana and have previously made a bid of 500,000 for him.

Now Surman has told his mate how great his own move has been, in a bid to get him join him at Molineux. "It`s been a great move for me - it`s a massive Premier League club with a huge fanbase and the players are very down to earth and very welcoming, so it`s very easy to fit in.' he told the Express & Star.

"He`s a very good player and has a lot of promise, because he`s still so young."

Vital Wolves Comment: We look set for a bidding war with Stoke for this lad. Stoke have already improved on our offer and put in a bid of 750,000.

Surman is the better of the two, so I`d hope we wouldn't spend more on Lallana, which brings bids to just around the million mark.

A good player - but one for the future me thinks. We could do with some Premiership experience in midfield...
