WOLVES striker Chris Iwelumo has successfully had an operation on his foot, following breaking the Beckham Bone during our tour of Australia.
Iwelumo broke a metatarsal in his foot during the first pre-season game against Perth Glory, which Wolves won 1-0.
'The operation went well and I'm now just getting ready for rehab,' Iwelumo told the official site.
'It's just a case of making sure there's no reaction but then once I'm off the crutches I'll be straight into it.
'I've had the injury before so I know what's required.
'They're saying it's about three months so we'll just get on with it and see how it goes.
Vital Wolves Comment: There has been a mixed reaction to Iwelumo's injury on the Vital Wolves forum, why not come and join the debate on whether Sam Vokes is ready to step in and replace Iwelumo in the Premier League next season.
