Vital Wolves: Ebanks-Blake signs till 2013

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has completed the formalities and signed his new contract - one that will run until the summer of 2013 - Official Site

GOALSCORER Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has now officially put pen to paper on his new deal to keep him at Molineux.

The deal had previously been reported in the middle of June, but the formalities were only completed this week (why the delay one asks, but as he has now signed, do I care? Not a lot).

'I'm delighted to have signed the contract but it was never in doubt,' said Sylvan to WOW. 'I've loved every minute of my 18 months here and hopefully the next four years are going to be just as happy.'

Vital Wolves Comment: It was always going to be a big season for Ebanks-Blake. A future England call-up will be on the cards if he can find his scoring boots in the Premier League and with Doyle and Iwelumo struggling at the start of the season, we will need him to hit the ground running if we are to take advantage of our so called easier start to the season.
