Vital Wolves: Ince was the inspiration

Jody Craddock has revealed Milton Keynes Dons manager Paul Ince provided the example he has tried to follow as Wolves captain - Express & Star

WOLVES defender Craddock spoke highly of Paul Ince as the former Wolves man led his new side to victory over us in our latest pre-season friendly.

A 1-0 defeat to lower league opposition isn't too much of a worry, but when it follows from another defeat with the Premier League kick off on the horizon, its hard not to worry.

However all the talk was of how great Ince was last time around in the top flight.

"Paul was a quality player and inspirational around the club. With what he had achieved in his career, it was a pleasure to play alongside him.' Craddock told the Express & Star.

"I took over as captain after Paul left. He was a bit louder than I am on the pitch but he led by example, which is what I hope I do now."
