WOLVES man Christophe Berra believes that the team will get better before the start of the Premier League season on August 15th.

Some rather poor results have followed of late with defeats to both Bristol City and Milton Keynes, but we keep being reminded that it's all about the fitness, so we shouldn't be overly worried. 'Friendlies are all part of the general build-up to getting match-fit, but it's still disappointing to get beat,' said Christophe Berra to WOW.

'Winning breeds confidence but pre-season results and form doesn't matter - all that matters is what we do on August 15 against West Ham.

'We still want to put on a performance and we still need to improve.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Have I mentioned that I`m not a big fan of pre-season friendlies before?

Friendly games mean nothing. I can't understand why so many fans are upset when we lose. Its all about gaining match fitness and sharpness. The real test will be our first Prem game that actually means something.
