Who should be Wolves Number 1?

Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is set to start the Premier League season as Wolves` No 1 - Express & Star

WOLVES man Wayne Hennessey looks set to take the number one jersey, beating off competition from Carl Ikeme and new signing American Marcus Hahnemann.

Hennessey has featured heavily during pre-season while Hahnemann has featured in more second string games, something that has hinted that Hennessey looks set to keep his spot between the sticks.

"Wayne has been excellent in pre-season. I said to him I thought he could have done better with the goal at MK Dons, but so could a couple of others as well.' McCarthy told the Express & Star, further hinting that Hennessey will get the nod in net.

"That aside, he`s had a great pre-season and has been terrific and really looked the part."

Hard to call - Personally I think matty murray is a much more consistent keeper but he is so unlucky with injuries etc. So I'll go with Hennesey on this one.
