There's not much to smile about at Molineux at the moment. Unfulfilled promise, wasted potential and braking hearts all lie thick on the ground.
But as the current campaign draws to its unsatisfactory finish, at least one glimmer of hope has shone out from the darkness.
Once considered falling well short of his potential, the epitome of unfulfilled promise, Keith Lowe has proved the critics wrong and emerged as a sign of what Wolves could be holding in reserve.
And the breaking heart?
Never more painful than that felt by a young, life long Wolves fan wanting nothing more than to pull on the Old Gold and Black, and play his part.
'There are a lot of good young lads here, and fingers crossed they will come in and do their stuff which can only be good for the club. Hopefully I can prove I could be a part of things,'
So do we Keith. So Do We.
