Wolves lose to Real Valladolid

WOLVES lost to Real Valladolid yesterday thanks to goals from Medunjanin and Martin.

The La Liga side took their chances in front of goal while £6.5million signing Kevin Doyle missed from the spot.

As ever though, with it only being a friendly the result doesn't matter and it would have proved a good work out for the side and some game time for Kevin Doyle and Ebanks-Blake after their injuries is a positive.

'I'm glad pre-season is out of the way now because everyone approaches it in a much different way to the season,' Mick told Wolves Official Website

'I know I certainly do and the players do as well.

'The start of the season is eagerly anticipated and I get the sense everyone is ready for it now.'

Wolves: Hennessey, Foley (Halford 45), Ward (Elokobi 67), Henry, Stearman, Craddock (capt), Edwards, Milijaš (Jones 71), Ebanks-Blake (Doyle 60) (Vokes 81), Keogh, Jarvis (Surman 65).
