Vital Wolves: Time to prove the bookies wrong!

It's time to prove the bookies wrong this season!

The sides that come up from the Championship are always the favourites to come straight back down.

Burnley were written off before the referee blew the whistle on their play-off final, while Birmingham are also well fancied to drop straight back down along with ourselves.

But last season Newcastle United and Middlesbrough joined West Brom (shame) in the bottom three places, leaving newbies Hull and Stoke to survive in their debut seasons in the Premier League. Something McCarthy in an interview with The Times is keen to replicate: "It would be lovely if, like Stoke City last season, we had a couple of games at the end where we weren`t scrapping against relegation, but we know it is going to be hard. The bookies aren`t stupid and we are one of the favourites to go down."

Vital Wolves Comment: We remain confident that we have the quality to stay in the Premier League.

We importantly appear to have the fire power up front to cause teams problems. We may not have that fire power in depth which could be our undoing, but a bit of luck and a healthy side should see us ok!
