Vital Wolves: Austrian Crouch move back on?

Wolves could be ready to reignite our interest in the Austrian Peter Crouch otherwise known as Stefan Maierhofer

The 26-year-old Rapid Vienna striker was linked with a move to Molineux eight days ago, but the trail has been cold ever since.

The 6 ft 7 and a half inch forward scored 18 goals in 20 appearances for Rapid Wien since joining in 2008.

Admittedly the league isn't the same standard as the Premier League, but that is still a hefty goal scoring record and with that height he is always going to cause problems at set pieces.

Vital Wolves Comment: It might not be pretty, but it sounds like it could be affective!
