Vital Wolves: Mick pleased with Milijaš

Wolves lost our opening game of the season to West Ham, bringing us all back down to earth following a summer of anticipation.

But we don't have long to catch our breath as we now face Wigan, following their impressive start beating Aston Villa at Villa Park.

One positive to come from the game was Nenad Milijaš, who made his Premier League debut.

He could well over the course of the season be that bit of class that makes a difference in games, which will earn us the points to survive in the Premier League.

'Nenad is almost one of our senior players with his experience but he's learning what life in England is all about.' Mick McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

Speaking about his debut against West Ham he went on to add: 'I was pleased with his performance as I was with all of them.'

Vital Wolves Comment: It's going to be a long hard season, we will lose more than we win, but with quality like Milijaš we will certainly give it a good go and make some friends along the way!
