Ebanks-Blake out (maybe), Doyle in (possibly)

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is probably going to be out for the game against Wigan.

Ebanks-Blake came off against West Ham, but the injury isn't likely to keep him out for long.

"We won`t know exactly how it is until it settles, but I don`t think it`s too bad." McCarthy told the Express & Star.

Ebanks-Blake being unavailable will be a big blow to McCarthy, but he does have the slim chance of record signing Kevin Doyle returning to action.

Doyle is hoping to be fit in time: "I`ve got an outside chance for tomorrow and hopefully an even better chance for Saturday away to Manchester City.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Thankfully it doesn't seem to be a lengthy spell out injured.

With Doyle, Ebanks-Blake and Iwelumo all likely to missing at Wigan, it will be imperative that at the other end we keep a clean sheet in the hopes we can pinch the points.

There's no point in starting Doyle if he's not even 80% fit. Give Vokes the nod and Doyle can have the last 15 if possible (Alongside Vokes that is!). WTID
