Wolves to go Cherry picking again

Wolves to go Cherry picking again

Mick McCarthy looks set to go cherry picking in Bournemouth again.

Reports (in The Sun) suggest that we are interested in former Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce.

The 21-year-old defender joined Bournemouth on a 2 year contract in 2007 so could be available on the cheap, much like when McCarthy picked up Sam Vokes.

Vital Wolves Comment: He made no appearances for Portsmouth and has spent most of his career in the bottom division. Cannot say I`m overly impressed with this rumour if the reports prove correct.

If we are to bolster the defence it has to be with experience. Come on Mick, we've got plenty of youngsters with potential. Get in someone who can impress from day one!
