Vital Wolves: He's our Rooney

Andy Keogh could be Wolves's own Wayne Rooney this season.

Karl Henry has praised his team mate Andy Keogh following his goal against Wigan.

His header from a Milijas delivery after about 5 minutes was enough to claim the points, but it was Keogh's performance that has taken the headlines: "Keogh`s a really good footballer and maybe in the Championship, you don`t always get that time to make things come off," said Henry to the Express & Star.

Henry then went on to compare his style to Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney: "I don`t think you`ll find players such as Wayne Rooney, who drop off, in the Championship.

"Keogh plays the role so well for us and has done now in both games and I hope he continues the form he`s in."

Vital Wolves Comment: What have you made of Keogh's performances? Has he done enough to give Mick a real selection headache once Ebanks-Blake and Doyle are back in contention?

He works bloody hard but he'll never be a striker like SEB or Doyle. He just doesn't have it in him. If only Doyle and SEB had the workrate of Keogh they would be un-stopable.

Will be as vital to us this season as Doyle and SEB. Without people like Keogh working hard all evening, players like Doyle and SEB will score far fewer goals
