Wolves captain Paul Ince looks set to miss the final two games of the season after uffering what now looks like a muscle tear against Watford.
'Paul's been for a scan which has detected a small tear in the muscle.' manager Glenn Hoddle said earlier today.
Incey's season was cut in half by a similar complaint, and it will be a disapointing end to what could still be his final campaign.
But The Guv'nor may not wish to call time on his illustrious career sitting in the sidelines, and could still yet play a part in taking Wolves back to the top flight for a second time.
And if youth is to be the order of the day next season, who better to lead them up to the promised land?
