Premier League Review Week 2

Premier League Review Week 2

Well now all the teams, ok most of the teams have played their second game, it's time for the Vital Wolves Premier League Review.

Obviously there is no better place to start than at Wigan, were of course, Wolves picked up a fantastic first win of the season.

Keogh got the early goal to clinch the points, much to the surprise of many following Wigan's opening day win against Aston Villa.

However the result of the week has to go begrudgingly to Burnley who pulled off a 1-0 win at home to Manchester United last night. Blake got the goal and the best from Owen, Rooney, Berbatov at co couldn't find the net.

The remainder of the results probably went to form. Birmingham completed the set for all the promoted sides collecting a win with a final minute penalty to sink Portsmouth.

Defoe banged in a hat-trick as Tottenham beat Hull 5-1 away. While Liverpool smacked in 4 against Stoke with no reply.

Chelsea again came from behind with a 3-1 over Sunderland.

So to round off our review, we'll take a quick glance at the table, knowing full well how important the league is after just two games!

Wolves now sit in a healthy 13th, miles clear of the relegation places and in contention for a European spot, next up for Wolves is Manchester City, so that'll be another three points then!
