A Hemmings goal on the hour mark was not enough as Wolves went on to lose 2-1 to Portsmouth in the reserves league.
Carl Ikeme featured in net, but he was unable to stop Cowan-Hall scoring after 11 minutes and Mantyla doubling the lead on 55 mins.
By the time Hemmings scored a few minutes later the game was all but over.
