'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jez confident Mancienne will not return to Chelsea

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey is confident that FIFA's transfer ban on Chelsea will not affect Mancienne's loan deal at Wolves.

Chelsea have been hit with a transfer ban by FIFA for transfer irregularities.

Chelsea will appeal the decision, which currently means that the big spenders are banned from signing players until January 2011.

This news was met with a bit of humour at first, before realising that it could effect Mancienne's loan deal at Wolves. But that doesn't appear to be the case according to Moxey.

'Obviously, player contract stability is of paramount importance to everyone in the Premier League and the last thing we want is to see Michael leave.' Jez told the Express & Star.

He went on to add: 'We have got Michael here and we'd like to keep him for the season. No-one should get too excited about this situation, because Chelsea are appealing and Michael is here to play football. We do not necessarily see this as affecting Michael's position.'

Jez wouldn't comment directly on the situation at Chelsea, choosing to add: 'We've got nothing to say in regard to Chelsea's situation, especially as we have got one of their young players. It's none of our business.'

I hope to god he stays!

We don't! It's great to see him getting the admiration he deserves though. Definitely got it in him to be England first team one day. A couple of seasons with you lot in the premiership (there's me tipping you to survive!) and he'll have all the experience he needs to come back to the Bridge.

He'll help you lot to stay up!

Cheers LifeLong..... I doubt Ancelloti would let him go to be fair, but a couple of years - That would be a result all round!

Doubt we will be able to keep him beyond the end of the season at best. Then I think he will have enough experience to do a job for Chelsea and we will have to splash the cash for a replacement
OLDGOLD
If we keep him the whole season I`ll be happy. Unrealistic to expect us to keep him beyond that.

Maybe you lot could have Rajkovic next year. Every bit as talented as Mancienne and as good.
