Vital Wolves: Battle on to replace Craddock

Jody Craddock will miss our game against Blackburn on Saturday, but his replacement is yet to be decided.

While the obvious replacement is Christophe Berra, McCarthy believes that Ronald Zubar could be in contention after appearing happier in England in recent times.

'My dilemmas were at the start of the season when Jody Craddock had a great pre-season and I'd signed Michael Mancienne.' McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

McCarthy went on to explain: 'But Christophe had been an outstanding performer all through pre-season and then Christophe got injured just before the start of the season, so Jody and Michael were in the team.

'Now Jody's injured, Christophe's certainly in pole position for that one. But Ronald has done really well and is far better.'

Zubar apparently stuck in a decent performance against Stoke for the reserves and it would be good to see him. But surely Berra has to get the nod?

Give Zubar a punt, surely anyone is better than Berra?
