Vital Wolves: Doyle Frustrated

Kevin Doyle has shown his frustration over his early season injury.

Doyle scored against Cyprus on Saturday as Ireland went on to win 2-1 and Doyle's fitness will also have improved following a friendly win over South Africa last night.

But his focus is on Wolves: "When a club pays a lot of money for you, they expect big things from you and it`s frustrating for me and the manager being injured straightaway.' Doyle told the Express & Star.

Doyle added: "It`s not nice and I`m doing my level best to be in-form for Wolves and also for Ireland, which is vital.

"I feel fit and better than I thought after missing pre-season which isn`t ideal. But I`ve worked really hard."

I'm sure Doyle over the course of the season will prove a good acquisition and if that then leads to us surviving in the Premier League then his transfer fee will be money well spent!
