Vital Wolves: 5 games down, what do you think?

5 games into the Premier League season and Wolves have just 4 points.

The latest game ending in defeat to Blackburn. So what's the reaction to that?

Here is what Mick McCarthy had to say for himself: 'We started the game reasonably well and had probably the best chance.' McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

Mick went on to add: 'But when we give the ball away in the middle of the park and let Diouf run through one-on-one with the keeper it's likely to end in tears which it did.'

And now the view from our Vital Wolves users!

Well, 1 win and one draw and 3 losses....what do you think? Personally a bit disappointed about today's result and felt that we should have had a good go at them. Nice for Maierhofer to get a goal, and I think with our poor scoring record of late, that will in itself earn him a start next time. Zubar has to be picked in preference to Berra IMO. Looking forward to having Kite and SEB back. If memory serves me right, last time we were in the prem we had 7 points from 10 games??! - Oldgold

Far far from premiership class yesterday. I cant see where the next win will come from. - Irish_Wolf

Yesterday was very disappointing. Thanks to Elokobi and Zubar for turning up late we had to put Mat Hill in. IMO he looked poor (I know it was his first prem game) and we missed George. Berra just does not do it for me, he lacks pace. I know everyone is blaming Mancienne but I thought Karl Henry's 'pass' was lacking in power. No doubt we will improve with Kightly, SEB and Foley back in the team. Good that Maierhofer got on the score sheet. What I saw of him yesterday he looks very useful. Also once Milijas settles down and gets to grip with the prem he will prove a very good signing. Not seen enough of Halford, Surmen etc to make any comments on them, though Halford's long throw will always be a threat. Well it's Fulham up next Sunday, we need to win this ! - mike1952

I wasn't even sure Hill was top half of championship class.... Be interesting to see how we respond against Fulham. I know we are short on goals, but I do think our best form of defence should be attack, whilst perhaps leaving one central midfield player deep to provide cover at the back. I understand Mick's decision from a disciplinary point of view, but played into the oppositions hands a bit though. Rather give them a telling off and a fine and send them onto the pitch all fired up!! - Oldgold
