Zubar & Elokobi Apologise to McCarthy

George Elokobi and Ronald Zubar have now apologised to Mick McCarthy, the rest of the team and us supporters for turning up late for a team meeting ahead of the Blackburn game.

Elokobi was dropped from the starting line up against Rovers, while Zubar was dropped from the match day squad.

The pair have also been fined for turning up ten minutes late.

'It's my responsibility as a player to be at the team meeting and I wasn't there so I received my just punishment.' Elokobi told Wolves Official Website.

'I've taken the gaffer's decision and all I can do is hold my hands up.

He went on to add: 'I've said sorry to the gaffer and the rest of the boys and would also like to apologise to the fans as well because I've let everyone down at the club.'

Zubar also apologised, stating that it would never happen again.

Vital Wolves Comment: At least that is now done and dusted and should all be forgotten about as we move on and search for more points!
