Vital Wolves: Pompey Match Thread

So time for a real relegation six pointer then? It may only be October, but the bookies will have this one down as a big relegation battle.

The pundits will agree with them, us newly promoted, Portsmouth in financial strife its the perfect six pointer.

And obviously until we go on a good run of matches, consistently picking up points and getting into midtable, we will continue to be relegation candidates, so lets suck it up and prove them wrong.

Portsmouth have lost their first seven games of the season. Even form this poor cannot continue forever! Add to the equation that they haven't been paid this week and they could be like a wounded animal trapped in a corner.

Team News: Expect Michael Kightly to replace Segundo Castillo causing a bit of reshuffle in midfield.

Berra and Mancienne will continue at the back, while Doyle and Keogh will continue up front.

For Portsmouth, Steve Finnan is expected to make his debut, while Papa Bouba Diop and Herman Hreidarsson are out.

My confidence ahead of this game as slowly drifted away throughout the week! I think if we don't pick up three points here it will be a big knock to the confidence of the side too.
