Leave 'em To Me, Dad
Not many people can get away with telling the Guv'nor what to do.
But it helps if you're his own flesh and blood.
The climax of last nights Lifetime Achievement Tribute for Incey was an unexpected speech from his son 14 year old son Thomas, currently playing for the Liverpool Academy.
And the ysoungster proved that it isn't only his father in the Ince household capable of giving out a little lip.
'From watching dad play football at an early age, it has inspired me to try and be like him.
'He has dedicated his life to football, played for some of the biggest clubs in the world and his country. The fact he is still playing like he is now highlights his love for the game.' said Tom, going on to shed maybe a little more light than his father would like on his off field activities.
'Football isn't his only love, there's golf, snooker, music and the odd glass of vino.
'But as well as being a footballer, he's also a husband and dad and I thank him for coming to watch me play my academy games.
'He has always said I could be as good as him - but I intend to be better. To achieve only half of what he has achieved would be amazing.' ending with
'I just have one piece of advice though - leave the penalties to me.'
