Wolves draw with Villa

Aston Villa and Wolves played out a 1-1 draw in the reserves on yesterday.

A crowd of just over 800 watched on as Michael Kightly opened the scoring inside the opening 10 minutes of the game.

20 minutes later though and the scores were level with Craig Gardner scoring for Villa.

As I always say though, these games cannot be taken seriously and are only good as fitness matches for players recovering from injury or those trying to stay match sharp.

With that in mind it is good to see Craddock, Zubar, Kightly, Surman and Iwelumo come through the full 90 minutes with Ebanks-Blake getting 70 under his belt.

Teams according to Wolves Official Website:

Villa: Parish, Young, Bouma, Osbourne, Clark, Lichaj, Albrighton, C. Gardner, Collins, G. Gardner (McGurk 84), Holbauer (Forrester 90).

Wolves: Hahnemann, Metcalf, Hill (Ebanks-Landell 78), Craddock, Zubar, Davis, Kightly, Surman, Ebanks-Blake (Spray 70), Iwelumo, Hemmings (Mendez-Laing 65).
