'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bring on Everton says Zubar

Wolves defender Ronald Zubar now believes he is ready for his debut following his 2.5million move from Marseille in the summer.

"If I`m picked for Everton, I`ll be ready. There`s a lot of competition, and it`s not my decision on who plays.' Zubar told the Express & Star.

He went on to add: "But for me, I`m ready now. I`ve spoken with the gaffer and he`s happy with me. We have a very good squad of players and there are a lot of games. But I`m ready and I`m sure there will be opportunities for me.

"I know the Premier League is fast, but the Championship and even League One are the same - everything in English football is very quick. But I like it. I am quick myself and I know what the gaffer wants from me."

It would be good to see Mick's summer signings fighting their way back into the side.

With Zubar and Milijas both sitting out, it does get frustrating that our summer signings are yet to show their true worth.

I`m sure it will happen, but just like everyone else I wish it had happened yesterday rather than having to wait any longer!
