Southend to keep their friend
Wolves defender George Friend will stay with First Division side Southend for another month following his loan deal being extended.
Since the 22-year-old joined Southend last month he has made six appearances and has even scored.
Southend is Friend's second loan move of the season following starting the season at Millwall.
Vital Wolves Comment: As I`ve said on many occasions, I much prefer to see players going out on loan, tasting real football rather than having the comfort of non competitive reserves games, so good on Friend for extending his deal.
