Wolves man banned for life

Wolves Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has been banned for life from a nightclub after being in a brawl which also involved Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome.

The alleged incident took place at the Bambu club.

It isn't clear who was brawling with who, but there is alleged to have been over 10 people involved, with various Wolves and Birmingham players and friends being in and around the area.

"Ikeme and Jerome were both ejected and are now banned for life from the club in the same way as anybody else would be if they caused trouble on the premises." Eddie Boulton a co-owner of Bambu told the Express & Star.

Ikeme was reportedly hit on the back of the head with a bottle during the brawl.

Vital Wolves Comment: With any incident like this, obviously it is clear that the events are still only alleged at this point. However if any Wolves players were involved, which does appear to be the case, then it is a real shame that they are unable to go out and behave respectfully.
