Wolves play best against the big boys

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has claimed that as we play better against the good sides, we could be in with a chance against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Wins against Wigan and Fulham along with draw against Everton and a good performance earlier in the season to Manchester City (ok we still lost), have left us feeling ok ahead of the game at Villa.

"We seem to play better against the better teams so that`s a good sign" Doyle told the Express & Star ahead of the Saturday lunchtime kick off game against Aston Villa.

We go into the derby game with some confidence following the point against Everton and Doyle went on to add: "We looked good again and we created chances and we know it was a great performance.'

Vital Wolves Comment: It would be really good to put a string of results together. As yet we have been unable to pick up points in consecutive games.

We really need to start doing that and there is no better time to start than against Villa.
