Vital Wolves: Draw with Stoke - The Verdict

A third draw on the trot for Wolves.

After going down 2-0 following an own goal from George Elokobi (who is really worrying me at left back now) and a stunner from Matthew Etherington, Jody Craddock of all people popped up to bag a couple of goals and get a point for Wolves.

Surely McCarthy would have been happy following the game?

'I'm disappointed though because we could have won that. We had opportunities at the last knockings, but we didn't punish them.' McCarthy told the BBC after the game.

Finally though a bit of good luck came our way with Craddock's first coming from an offside position.

To defend the linesman though, it would have been difficult to see if the flick on had come from a Wolves or Stoke player. Either way it didn't faze McCarthy: 'Was (Jody Craddock's goal) one yard, two yards or five yards offside? I ain't bothered.

'We've had a few go against us this season and I've accepted them good grace, it's about time someone else had to.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Mick might have fancied all three points, but again its another match I`m happy to come away with a draw from.

Stoke has proved a difficult place to go for any side and to remain undefeated after facing Everton and Stoke away and Aston Villa at home is a good run!

We've been banging on about consistency on Vital Wolves and over the past three games we've got that.

Unbeaten in 3 is pretty good to be fair - But I'd rather have taken a loss, win & draw..! Well done Jody Craddock!! WTID
