Two of the 'Big Four' thrown to the Wolves

Two of the 'Big Four' thrown to the Wolves

Our next matches are against Arsenal and Chelsea. Now even the most optimistic of Wolves fans are probably not expecting a hat full of points over the next couple of weeks.

But don't say that to Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy who after draws against Stoke, Aston Villa and Everton, remains confident ahead of the two games.

"The performances are good. It`s set up for us to turn one of the big ones over. Why can`t we? Why be negative about it?" McCarthy told the Express & Star.

Mick then went on to say that he thought we deserved the points against Stoke: "We should have won. I`m sick of playing well and just getting a point - we may just as well have won one and lost two."

Vital Wolves Comment: While the maths add up Mick, I`d prefer us to be consistently picking up points, rather than winning 1 in 3 each month. As consistency breeds confidence!
