'If It's Football, It's Vital'
No appetite for Rangers & Celtic
There is simply no appetite to add Rangers and Celtic into the Premier League according to Jez.
The Premier League met to discuss the proposal to include the two Scottish sides in our league.
But it was quickly rejected.
"We briefly discussed the issue and there was no appetite to take it further, because there was not enough interest from the clubs. It didn`t get past Stage A.' Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey told the Express & Star.
He went on to add: "It is the English Premier League after all and I think the message is quite clear. It`s our product and we`re working on our product.'
So what about the likes of Cardiff and Swansea in the Championship? "Yes, there are Welsh clubs in the English League, but they have been part of the fabric of our game and its history for over 100 years."
