Don't Panic says McCarthy

Don't panic, is the strong message coming from Mick McCarthy going into the Chelsea game.

Following on from the heavy defeat to Arsenal, Wolves fixture list continues to depress with a trip to Chelsea up next.

While a cheeky bet at 30/1 on a Wolves win is worth a punt, the likelihood is, we will come away from the game with nothing and could be looking at the papers with dread as we drop to bottom of the Premier League.

'For anybody who wants to get really upset about being in the bottom three now - well the odds are we'll still be there on Saturday when we play Chelsea.' McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

He went on to continue: 'I'm not saying we will be, but the odds are that we'll be there.

'If we stay together and be calm about things and don't have a knee-jerk reaction and panic we'll be OK.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Our recent performances against the likes of Aston Villa and Everton have shown we can compete in this league.

More consistent results are needed but I`m sure they will come!
