'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Defeats to Arsenal & Chelsea will not break us

Following heavy defeats to both Arsenal and Chelsea, Wolves now have the chance to bounce back against Birmingham.

It's not like we really needed an excuse for this game to be important, but following recent form, is more important than ever to pick up a result against Birmingham.

While the Wolves squad are obviously not trying to make too much of the recent couple of results, our next two games against Birmingham and Bolton could be crucial comes the end of the season.

'Teams like Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool aren't going to make or break your season,' Greg Halford told Wolves Official Website.

He went on to add: 'Playing against teams like Birmingham, Portsmouth and the teams around you, that's where we have to be picking up points.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Consistency is also key when trying to survive and conceding four goals against Arsenal and four goals against Chelsea is not the type of consistency we are looking for.

We need to perform and pick up a string of points from games. We will obviously lose more than we win, but the performances also need to improve.
