Strong Wolves side lose to Fulham

Wolves fielded a strong side in our reserves fixture with Fulham at Molineux last night, but lost the match 2-0.

The match also saw the return of Stephen Ward to match action.

"I`ve had a taste of the Premier League and I just want some more. It would have been a lot different if it had happened in pre-season and I`d be looking to get back into it now.' Stephen Ward told the Express & Star before the game.

He went on to add: "I`ve had some experience, I know what to expect, and am looking forward to being available again and hopefully giving the gaffer another option."

Michael Kightly, Stefan Maierhofer, George Elokobi, Andy Keogh, Kevin Foley, Michael Mancienne, Nenad Milijaš and Marcus Hahnemann were all named in the side alongside Stephen Ward and dominated the majority of play, but were unable to find a break through, while Fulham took their limited chances to win the match.
