Wolves pair close to return

Ronald Zubar and Chris Iwelumo are edging back to fitness.

Zubar picked up a thigh strain in the build up to the Chelsea fixture, but could be set for a return against Birmingham.

"I think Ronald will train tomorrow, which will be good and a boost to us, It`s just a slight thigh strain, so we`re hoping he`ll be fine." Wolves boss Mick McCarthy told the Express & Star.

While Iwelumo could be set for a return to training.

Mick added: "He`s hoping he might train this week so we`ll just have to see, It would be a boost. We might decide to keep him back though.

Vital Wolves Comment: The Birmingham game is looking crucial, we must pick up the three points and any addition bodies for the cause will be a help!
