'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A result is Vital for Wolves

Following defeats to Arsenal and Chelsea, Wolves must pick up points against Birmingham and Bolton before trips to Spurs and Manchester United.

'It is vital that we take something from this one - even if it`s just a draw - to give us some sort of momentum going into our following home game, as the two away after that are at Tottenham and then Manchester United.' Steve Bull wrote in his Express & Star column.

He went on to add: 'So, as I say, a point wouldn`t be a disaster on Sunday, but three would be wonderful. It`s going to be a tough, hard, physical match - and it wouldn`t surprise me if a few injuries were sustained - and probably not one for the purist.'

Vital Wolves Comment: I wouldn't ever dream of arguing against Bully! But on this occasion I don't even need to consider it, we on Vital Wolves have been banging on and on and on about the need for consistency and Bull touches on this point.

We need to not be beaten against Birmingham so we have at least something to carry on into our next games. Otherwise we could find ourselves on the end of a lot of consecutive defeats.
