Wolves: Jury now out on McCarthy?

Is the jury now out on Mick McCarthy as Wolves gaffer?

Three defeats on the spin (although 2 against Arsenal and Chelsea) and without a win in eight. The panic button has well and truly been hit.

A home defeat to Birmingham isn't acceptable and the comments Vital Wolves have been receiving since the full time whistle reflect that.

Irish_Wolf on the Vital Wolves Forum wrote: I said at the start of the season that we were in a mini league, we had to stay above Birmingham and Burnley and just one existing PL club and we would survive. Well we are failing and failing very badly. We will go straight back down.

On the Vital Wolves Twitter D_oubleD wrote: I try and remain positive.... But wolves really are starting to look out of out their depth.

While also on the Twitter iWibbly wrote: another Morgan Premier league 'investment' off the pitch no wonder we're struggling we're a team in the wrong league.

On the Vital Wolves Facebook Page, it was more of the same.

Simon Langley wrote: Out-battled, clueless and not putting 2 passes together!

And as the evening progressed, so did the debate on Mick McCarthy's future as Wolves manager.

Rob Simcock: Sack Mick McCarthy before its to late he aint a clue cant hack the prem his own record proves it! McCarthy out! McCarthy out!

Dave Bryan: Keep Mick. Pointless sacking him because who will come to us?

Danny Watkiss 'Wokko': Keep Mick. Because he is the best man for the job.

Rob Simcock: Big Sam the man for us a wolves fan himself

Dave Mills: McCarthy Out! He hasn't a clue, he is tactically unaware.

The jury shouldn't be out. How long does it take to get rid of the man with no tactical nous whatsoever.
