Wolves: Edwards set for 3 months out

Wolves man Dave Edwards is likely to be out for around 3 months after damaging his right ankle at Tottenham.

While Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is hoping it will not be the worst case scenario, it didn't look good for the 23-year-old when he picked up the injury on 60 minutes.

"It could be like Michael Kightly and be an operation - it could be eight to 12 weeks out.' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He added: "I hope it`s not, but those are the first signs, that it could be similar to that. We`ll have a look at it but hopefully it won`t be that long."

Vital Wolves Comment: Fingers crossed for Dave.
