Wolves in hot water with Premier League

It appears that Wolves could be in hot water with the Premier League board over Mick McCarthy's decision to make ten changes for the match against Manchester United.

Section E, paragraph 20 of the Premier League Regulations state: In every league match, each participating club shall field a full strength team."

With that in mind the latest on Sky Sports News currently reads: 'Premier League Board ask Wolves to explain team selection against Manchester United.'

The announcement gives the impression that McCarthy's decision is now under investigation by the Premier League.

Club captain Jody Craddock has defended Mick McCarthy's decision and has expressed the view that the team fielded was the best available to McCarthy.

"Football is very much a squad game these days and nowhere more so than in this division and for a team like us who need to battle so hard for every point we can get." Jody Craddock told Wolves Official Website

He added: "The team put out was the best available on the night with players who had fresh legs and hadn't featured at Tottenham."

Pur-lease. So you play your 10 second best players in the hope of beating United? Not even Real Madrid have that kind of arrogance.

There is a difference between arrogance and foresight mate! Obviously you are both arrogant and short sighted!
