No refund for Wolves fans
Wolves supporters who went to the Manchester United match will not receive a refund from Wolves.
Travelling Wolves supporters chanted "Forty two quid to watch the reserves" from the Old Trafford terraces. While Sky Sports News featured supporters who wanted a refund on their programme.
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey told the Express & Star: "We have no plans to refund the £42 that they were chanting, about although we do have an empathy with them.'
'Of course supporters weren't expecting that line-up to be fielded but I actually thought they got behind the team very well, particularly in that first half hour when it was a very even game,' Jez added to Wolves Official Website.
He went on to explain: 'As ever we appreciate the excellent support of our fans who follow the team in such large numbers up and down the country and hope they realise that every decision made by the manager is one which has the best interests of the club at heart.'
Vital Wolves Comment: With the club in discussion with the Premier League over the selection any refunded tickets would almost act as an admission of guilt on Wolves part, so this news is understandable.
