Fans of all teams have had their say regarding Arsene Wenger's comments about Wolves team selection against Manchester United.
As you will have heard, Mick McCarthy made 10 changes to his side when faced with an away game at Old Trafford.
Wolves had just won two games on the spin, including a 1-0 over Spurs.
While the decision didn't exactly show too much respect to the travelling Wolves fans, after a day or two of thinking it over, in a way tactically, it made sense.
JamoDaWolf agreed writing: Well Done Mick McCarthy I say...! 1st XI were exhausted and the confidence was given a boost at White Hart Lane...... So why send them out at 80% and watch the confidence drain away again????? Like Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea & all other teams we have a squad, if the squad needs rotating then so be it! As for McCarthy putting a 'Weaker' team out - Well on paper yes, but in terms of stamina and fitness levels at the time I believe that he did put out the 'Stronger' team. WTID
But Wenger, the Arsenal boss didn't appear to agree after his sides draw with Burnley: 'We will have to compete with Manchester United over 37 games instead of 38,' he said.
'I believe it is a problem for the international credibility of the Premier League, but it is not my problem, it is a Premier League problem.'
Vital Wolves and the majority of the media, took that as a negative attack on Wolves.
Amos. posting on our article comments however didn't agree. He said: Rather than being in a bad mood his remark was really just a good humoured poke at ManU. Wenger knows about fielding weaker sides having put out the youngest team ever to appear in the CL in our last encounter. Don't believe the sensationalised reports.
JT_daniel wrote on the article comments: Agree with Wenger on this one. United have to play 37 games (+ a gift of 3 points, no thanks to you lot!) whereas the rest have to slog it out for the rest of the rounds. Will you lot regret doing this when you get relegated by just ONE point? You could've easily taken atleast a point, seeing how well you played against Tottenham.
But JamoDaWolf, responded by stating: Listen - When you have an understanding and decent amount of basic knowledge about Wolves and our current situations then you can freely express your opinion with out issue..! It's not our fault Arsenal drew with Burnley (That's is what is stoking this fire..!) - Also note that team that started against Spurs, is NOT our first choice starting XI..... So like I say either do some research or go and be ignorant elsewhere
jinkin jimmy dimmock didn't agree with Wenger either by saying: Typical Wenger moan moan moan. Just cos he can't win the league anymore. Sad and very bitter. That said, what the hell was McCarthy thinking with this selection. Idiot.
naija_gooner didn't appear to agree with jinkin jimmy by saying: always spitting rubbish jimmy....
While Merlin simply added: I'll laugh my socks off if you get turned over by Burnley!
