'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Iwelumo fighting fit

Big Chris Iwelumo made his first 90 minute appearance against Manchester City and is now fighting fit and avaiable to help in our quest to avoid the drop.

'I was delighted to be back in the team after the gaffer gave me the shout.' Chris Iwelumo told Wolves Official Website.

Iwelumo first partnered Kevin Doyle for 75 minutes and then for 15 minutes also partnered Sylvan Ebanks-Blake who appear to be Mick's (and mine) first choice pairing.

He added: 'I saw the specialist just before the Tottenham match and he told me to get 20 or 30 minutes here and there.

'I felt the best I've done for a while on Monday night, so to get a start was brilliant and hopefully I can get fitter, stronger and sharper and bring something to the table.

Vital Wolves Comment: It is good to have Big Chris back. He does offer that different option which unfortunatly Stefan Maierhofer hasn't quite managed since his arrival at Molineux.
