Ward leaves Wolves

The transfer window has now opened and while many of us were drinking our way into a new decade, Wolves and Millwall were putting the finishing touches to a transfer.

Darren Ward has left Molineux to join Millwall on a permanent deal. He has of course already been on loan with them this season and previously spent a 4 year deal at the club before leaving for Crystal Palace.

'Darren has left us as of today to move to the New Den on a permanent deal,' said Wolves Chief Executive Officer Jez Moxey to Wolves Official Website.

'We thank him for his services and wish him all the best.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Good luck to Darren at Millwall.

He's an okay player - I'm surprised he's happy to drop down to League One though.
