Kilgallon rules out move

Possible Wolves target Matthew Kilgallon has ruled out a January move away from Sheffield United.

Newcastle United and ourselves were reportedly interested in the player, but with him fast approaching the end of his contract he has decided to stay put for the time being.

"We have spoken to Kevin Blackwell to say Matthew is fully committed to Sheffield United until the end of the season.' Kilgallon`s agent Paul Masterton told the Express & Star.

His agent however made sure that everyone knew that Kilgallon was keeping his options open for a lucrative summer move, as the player is out of contract at the end of the season and so can leave on a bosman: "We have also informed Newcastle United about the situation. Matthew is keen to win promotion with Sheffield United, if that happens we will re-assess the options in the summer."

Vital Wolves Comment: I`m not too fussed about this one, I think our target over January should be someone with Premier League experience to help us with a possible dog fight towards the end of the season.
