The Hoff has hernia operation

The Hoff has hernia operation

Stefan Maierhofer has had an operation on a hernia, but will only miss the next match against Wigan.

At least that is what we think a statement on his official website translates too, however the google translator isn't exactly 100% accurate.

'Stefan has a hernia - a protrusion of an organ in the groin with a small operation can be resolved.' A statement on the Hoff's official website read following a google translation.

It went on to add, that he had the operation on Thursday, but was back in England by Friday evening.

Well at least that is how we read: 'he flew to Munich on Thursday to a preliminary investigation and on Friday the operation - even at night but is back to England.'

It added: 'Stefan is expected to miss the championship, only the match against Wigan!' which we think means he will just miss the game against Wigan.

Vital Wolves Comment: After completing this article I did actually notice that his website does have an English language option, but that wasn't half as fun as using the google translator!
