'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's time for Wolves to bounce back

Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy wants the team to string a run of results together to put the defeat to Wigan to bed.

We've slipped back down the table again, in a season that we all know will have quite a few more twists and turns before it ends.

We`ve looked down and out once before, following the defeat to Birmingham, but three wins in four soon had us flying up the table.

A run of results is what's needed and Mick is sure he will get it.

"It`s not all sackcloth and ashes. We lost to Birmingham but then went on a decent run afterwards. We beat Spurs, then went and did some damage elsewhere.' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He added: "That`s what we`ve got to do again and I`ve said that to the players. People will look at it and think that, because we lost to Wigan, they will wonder where we`re going to get points from especially we`ve got three away games coming up. But we`ll do it, we`ll be fine.
