'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Scoring goals is Ebanks-Blake's lifeblood

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake had a great chance to get back into the scoring grove against Wigan; but failed to take it.

Unfortunately that is the story of his first season in the Premier League.

On the receiving end of a nice pass from Nenad Milijas, Ebanks-Blake would have tucked that chance away without a second thought last season. But this year, he creeps past the post.

'It's really difficult for him. He desperately wants to score.' McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'I'm sure the disappointment rests heavily on him - I know it does - you can see the disappointment etched in his face.

'Scoring goals has been his lifeblood.'

Vital Wolves Comment: We have faith in Sylvan Ebanks-Blake on Vital.

During pre-season we were even giving him an outside shot at Fabio Capello's England squad for South Africa!

While that might now look a long way away, we still think Sylvan has the quality to fire in the goals that get earns our spot in next seasons Premier League.

Once he finds that net from open play, he has the capability to hit many, many more!

Having seen Geoffrey Mujangi Bia play a few times, I'd say that Sylvan is def going to be seeing him make those totally unselfish run's in front of and around him - If this does start to happen, then it's game on for Sylvan! Also Mujangi Bia is a bit of a beast - Would compete with both Kightley and Jarvis...... This IS an exciting move! Well done Mick!
