Fans turn on McCarthy

Fans turn on McCarthy

While Vital Wolves continues to back Mick McCarthy, some of the people who follow us on Facebook have had enough.

Simon Langley wrote (edited to remove bad language) McCarthy go and take your daft tactics with you! Times up lets try and salvage something with a new face!

Never mind the 'He has earned the right after taking us up' rubbish, if we go down we will spend another 5yrs rebuilding while having mouth watering trips to Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Bristol City etc....

Anthony Wood: I still say we cant just blame McCarthy. Moxey needs sacking as well. It wont belong before Mr Morgon kicks off.

Adam Jones: Yes but if we go down he's the man to get us back up he's one of the best in champ so we do need him when we get down there.

Simon Langley: And when he gets us back up? sorry if? No he had his chance he`s lost it, I really hope we can do it but reality says we haven't got a prayer.

If he had bought well in the summer and spent some cash on wages we would not have been in such a dire position, you pay peanuts you get monkeys. Still when McCarthy and the Moxey have long gone people like us will still be there. This club has one of the richest histories in football and we deserve better treatment than this.

Adam Jones: Look at it this way if we do get rid of Mick who is there to replace him I can't think of many can you?

Karl Basso: Easy replace him with Mark Hughes.

Dont get me wrong I'm not one of these jump on the get Mick out band wagon's, I personally would like him to keep us in the Premier League, if he does that and he improves starting the next season then fine but if it becomes a bad start to the season then he'll be gone, and then I'd say it would be time to get Mr Hughes in.

For a man who can keep his team 6th in the league you know speaks for itself!! If we're back in the Championship then Mick is the best man to get us back. However I still have to question his decisions of which players he's playing in the right positions and the formation. 4-5-1 is working ok but its not enough attack. I think 4-4-2 is going to work better against Spurs this week. Then its 10 days to plan and think how to beat Chelsea. 18 points if we can get that or maybe even 15 we can survive.

It was only a matter of time, he was awful with Sunderland at times.

I'm still sticking with him. What is a new manager going to bring in now? It's Mick's squad and this season was always going to be a battle. It's February and we are 3 points off of 14th. I would have took that at the beginning of the season.

Can't say I agree with sacking him, but then again im a neutral. in my eyes it could be worse, your only one point of safety, just look at teams that have come up in the past, like derby.

What a load of tosh...! If anyone needs to go it the greaseball that is Jez Moxey...! Get behing the lad's and Mick - We've done ok, but the final third hasn't clicked. It's easy to see that the lad's are getting desperate, which is doing us no favours - So let's take a bit of pressure off them and let them do their thing eh?! WTID
