'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We can pick up unexpected points says Jones

We've all seen it, in patches we`ve had performances that should have been enough to get the win. Now we just need to do it for longer against Spurs.

Against Birmingham we should have taken the points, but a quick fire Kevin Phillips double left us with nothing but our tails between our legs.

We've slipped back into the bottom three and the pressure is once again building on Mick McCarthy.

Spurs are next and Wolves desperately need something from the game.

'Now we've got another important game on Wednesday, so we have to get over this, then kick-on and prepare for Tottenham.' David Jones told Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'Hopefully we can start turning some of these performances where we feel unlucky, into wins.

'We have competed against teams and picked up points where we weren't expected.'
